eoGEAR Medium Handlebar Bag

This is our mid-sized handlebar bag which provides 2.3 liters of volume. Attaches to flat bar mountain or hybrid bikes or drop bar road/gravel bikes. 

Effective March 2022, we are now shipping version 2.0 which has adjustable handlebar straps. They can be moved vertically to provide more clearance above your tire, and positioned in or out depending on the width of your handlebars.

FEATURES—Two straps (Velcro-like material) for attaching to your handlebars and one that goes around the head tube or stem. It also has a pair of webbing loop “rings” for carrying as a shoulder bag when used off the bike.

MAIN COMPARTMENT—Holds a small jacket, arm warmers, repair kit and snacks. It has a horseshoe-shaped zipper.

OUTSIDE POCKET—The outside zippered pocket is a good spot to store cash and I.D. It will hold the optional vinyl wallet (# 4915). Also included is a lanyard for your keys.

CONSTRUCTION—The exterior of the bag is constructed of rugged 400-denier Nylon Pack cloth or 420-denier Ripstop Nylon fabric (with a water-repellent coating on the inside of the fabric — we don’t use cheap polyester fabrics like some imported bags). The main compartment has heavy-duty #8 water-repellent zipper. The outside of bag has reflective strips for use in dim light or night riding.

COLOR CHOICES—Our current model is now predominantly black with a dark gray top. Also we have omitted the silver-colored compression strap, substituting an internal framesheet instead.

OTHER CHOICES—For a larger handlebar bag, look at our Medium Burrito Bag (# 3430), the zippered Rando 6.8 H-Bag (# 2268-CLA) or the RollTop 8.2 bag (# 3482, attached to a separate adapter). 

This bag only works as a handlebar bag (with its sewn-in straps), unlike the same-sized SeatBag 2.3-DT (# 2223-GDT), which will work as either a handlebar bag or seat bag, but requires a separate adapter for either use. 

Cautionary Notes

Nearly all handlebar bags block use of handlebar mounted lights (except for our Large Burrito Bag). Consider mounting your light below the bag on the fork (best) or above the bag on a stem accessory like the Delta Computer Caddy (see photo[s] on this page). With version 2.0 this is less of a problem as the bag can be positioned much lower than previous models.
