Shipping Rates
Orders are typically shipped one to two business days of receiving your order. Standard shipping rates in the Continental U.S. are based on the value of your order. Rush or air shipping rates in the US and orders shipped outside the Continental US are based on the actual cost of shipping plus a $3 handling fee. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii usually go via U.S. Postal Service (USPS) as FedEx or UPS cost significantly more. Most air deliveries require a signature upon delivery. Please note that the cost for shipping Kinesis long lens cases via air service is based on “dimensional weight” rates, which bill according to the size of the box, not the actual rate, hence, a drastic increase in shipping costs.
Standard Shipping & Handling in Continental USA
1 to 8 “business” day delivery time. We will ship via UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail or USPS 1st Class Mail (our pick, whichever is the most cost effective). If you specify a particular method, like UPS Ground or Priority Mail, it may cost you more than the “standard” rates listed below (UPS typically runs $9 min.). Shipments over $30 in value include insurance. Please note that all UPS Ground shipments to California (except the NW corner), Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, most parts of Oregon and Colorado are guaranteed in two business days (guarantee waived between Dec. 12 and Dec. 25th or for inclement weather).
Merchandise subtotal up to $20.00 | $4.95 |
Merchandise sub-total, $20.01–$50.00 | $7.95 |
Merchandise subtotal, $50.01–$150.00 | $10.95 |
Merchandise subtotal, $150.01–$400.00 | $13.95 |
Merchandise subtotal, $400.01–750.00 | $16.95 |
Merchandise subtotal, over $750.00 | $20.00 |
Extra Add-on Fees:
Several of our products, due to the weight (SafariSack beanbags) or size (aka dimensional weight) of the box, that is long lens cases, require additional shipping costs. Each of those fees are outlined on that particular product page.
Air Shipping in the Continental USA (via UPS or FedEx)
Please specify an arrival date in the comments section of your online order as your order may or may not ship the same day your order was placed. A signature by the recipient is sometimes required for this service, but can be waived. Shipments to the western U.S. (we're in Utah) cost less than shipments elsewhere in the country.
Product to be Shipped (shipping box & product packaging adds 1/2 - 1 lb. to the total weight) | 3-day | 2-day | Overnight (afternoon delivery) |
---|---|---|---|
One flat pouch up to one 1 lb | $7-10 | $15-25 | $20-35 |
2-3 lbs | $18-28 | $25-39 | $40-55 |
4-5 lbs | $25-38 | $29-45 | $50-65 |
6-7 lbs | $45-65 | $50-80 | $75-99 |
We charge the actual shipping fee, based on the zone and weight of the package. We will not know the exact shipping total until after your order is packaged and weighed, however estimates are listed above. We are in Utah, so shipments to the east coast cost more than those to the midwest or to the western U.S. Long lens cases or pack frames are significantly more as the "dimensional weight" rule applies -- i.e. they charge by the size of the box, not the weight.
Please note that all UPS Ground shipments to California (except the NW corner), Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, most parts of Oregon and Colorado are guaranteed in two days so a 2-day air shipment is unnecessary.
Air Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or APO/FPO* Addresses
Via USPS Priority Mail. Costs are approximate and change frequently due to fuel surcharges. *APO (Army Post Office), FPO (Fleet Post Office)

International Shipping (Canada, Asia, Europe, UK etc.)
Please note that sometimes our shopping cart calculator frequently exaggerates the shipping costs on international orders, especially when you are purchasing several items.
You have two choices:
1) Email us what item you are interested in purchasing and your complete shipping address. We will quote you an actual shipping choices and amounts.
2) You may place an order & then wait for us to confirm shipping costs before we do a final “capture” of the funds on your credit card or PayPal account (when you place an order the funds are only authorized on your credit card). Just put a comment in the check-out phase like “please confirm shipping cost first.” Some of our dealers, like B&H, have special arrangements with shippers that yield better rates than we can obtain :)
Intl Rate Table
The rates below are USPS (United States Post Office) and the costs are approximate. Frequently, the delays in international shipping are not the shipping service, rather the customs process on the receiving end (which you are responsible for paying). We have found that packages sent to British Columbia in Canada usually take longer than those going to most other countries like Singapore, Switzerland etc.
Note 1: UPS or FedEx are other options but are about 2-4 times the price of USPS Express Mail International. The cost for a typical belt system is about $60-120. UPS "Standard" service to Canada (7 business days) for a 2 lb. package is $14.00. UPS Worldwide Expedited" to Canada (3 business days) for a 2 lb. package is $71.00. Brokerage customs fees of UPS or FedEx are usually a lot more than USPS too.
Note 2: All international orders over $20 include insurance. If an order is lost or damaged, we will reship the order and charge your card a second time. Credit for your first order will not be issued until we see a refund from the post office, which sometimes takes 3-4 months (except Express Mail where claims are quicker). You may opt out of insurance and save a dollar or two (please put "no insurance" in the comments section of your online order), but we are not responsible for lost or damaged orders. PLEASE DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! USPS Express Mail International is the quickest method available.
N/A = Service Not Available -- maximum package weight for First-Class Mail International is 1.8 kg (4 lbs.).
You may figure your own estimated shipping price by visiting the United States Postal Service (USPS) website and calculating the cost. Don't forget to allow extra for insurance. We will add to that cost a $2.00 handling fee.
Canadian orders cannot always be shipped to a Post Office Box. Generally speaking we prefer to ship to a “street” address.
Once a package leaves the US, tracking is difficult since it is in the hands of the destination country and their customs. Consequently, we can not ship a replacement for lost products until six weeks past the shipping date on Priority Mail packages, and 12 weeks past the shipping date on First Class packages.
