Two straps and buckles are provided. The left one is for the front. Review the “Slider Buckle” instructions on the Kinesis “How To” page (kgear.com/howto) on how to tighten or adjust the slider buckle to the webbing.
INSTRUCTIONS: front detail ~ remove the existing strap (if there is one) & replace it with this long strap. Be sure to double back the webbing through the “slider” buckle. The male buckle on the left attaches to the front camera and the other buckle attaches to the camera on your side.
INSTRUCTIONS: rear detail ~ add the back adapter strap to the pig tail on the top/rear of your harness.

H158 — 2nd Camera Body Strap for H717 X-Harness

Carry a 2nd or 3rd camera body on your H717-K or H717-J X-Harness or carry a DSLR or mirrorless camera to the side, instead of in front only, as the H717 was originally designed to do.

This strap kit attaches to the rear and front of the harness, thus carrying this second body on your side, well below your armpit. It can be attached to either the left or right side.

It will also fit on the H344 harness, but it is not as supportive as the H717.

The stock H158 only works if you are using the Kinesis quick-release buckle system (H435) attached to the lugs of your camera body, but can make it up for other brands upon request (Tamrac, UPstrap etc.).
