INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Add the wide strap with the SlikClips onto the webbing on the side straps of the case. Be SURE to snap the SlikClip closed. Then, tuck the lid underneath it. See https://kgear.eogear.com/pages/kinesis-how-to-use-misc-buckles for SlikClip details.
INSTRUCTIONS STEP 2: Velcro the strap with the female buckles onto the front of the case. Then cl9p the male buckles of the L127 or L128 lid onto it.

L228 — Extension Lid Adapter Strap Set

This set of straps will extend the height of your L311 or L511 case by adding a L127 or L128 lid (lid not included). 

  • Although not designed for the L311 or L511, the L127 or L128 deep lids will fit onto these cases with this slightly weird adapter strap set.
  • The attached lids, especially the deepter L128 lid, is a little floppy but does provide some dust protection.
  • This goofy adapter renders a backpack harness Inoperable, if you are using such an accessory.
